A “CNC plasma” system is a machine that carries a plasma torch and can move that torch in a path directed by a computer. The term “CNC” refers to “Computer Numerical Control”, which means that a computer is used to direct the machine's motion based on numerical codes in a program.
CNC plasma cutters can cut through a wide range of different materials, including steel, aluminum, brass, and copper, and can be used for a selection of different industries like fabrication and welding shops, auto repair and restoration shops, industrial construction sites, and salvage operation sites.
We have in house CAD design services and can create a part from scratch based on your specifications or we can reverse engineer a part and create the CAD files needed to replicate the part.
CNC plasma cutting machines can offer excellent precision and repeatability. Plasma cutting can be carried out in the water which results in smaller heat-affected zones as well as minimizing noise levels. Plasma cutting can cut more complex shapes as it has high levels of accuracy.
